The funny thing is that it wasn’t even him handling our soft media. He came out speaking to the media to address a random twitter poster.I encourage everyone to listen to the The Athletic NBA show podcast - Point of contention from today. They openly mock Quin for his presser for like 5 minutes... especially the line at the end "I see them sit at the same table to eat... sometimes".
The go on about how soft he and our team are... and Zach mentions how they can't handle our soft media its not a great sign. @infection give it a listen.
His presser was an all-time dunce. Messes up the facts and closes with "everything is fine... I've seen them eat together sometimes".
I kept thinking of the "Caine Mutiny" the entire time. The funny thing is that it wasn’t even him handling our soft media. He came out speaking to the media to address a random twitter poster.
Well... what brought it out was the media asking Donovan about the stat... which is a number... the stat was circulating on twitter. So the media did ask a "tough" question. Its funny how its all been bubble gum and lollipops from 95% of the Jazz media... but if they get asked a question that appears to be critical or if Andy post anything semi-negative on twitter the players and coaches freak the **** out.The funny thing is that it wasn’t even him handling our soft media. The funny thing, Donovan answered the question perfectly. Quin should have just left it alone, instead he exacerbated the issue.Well... what brought it out was the media asking Donovan about the stat... which is a number... the stat was circulating on twitter. Its okay not to be perfect... its okay to just answer with a tinge of honesty or just give standard answers.
Just listened to it and ooooof. Would recommendI encourage everyone to listen to the The Athletic NBA show podcast - Point of contention from today. They openly mock Quin for his presser for like 5 minutes... especially the line at the end "I see them sit at the same table to eat... sometimes".

Because it isn't 1986 and Rudy and Whiteside aren't Hakeem and SampsonWhy have we not seen Whiteside and Rudy on the court at the same time? Is Snyder just not that creative or what? DM, 6th man and Bogey with the twin towers could have been interesting.

Also have you seen Hassan defend outside of the paint? Makes Kanter look like a lock down guy.Because it isn't 1986 and Rudy and Whiteside aren't Hakeem and Sampson
This speaks to huge insecurity imo. How much does that lack of confidence affect their play in tough late-game situations. Seems on-brand for this iteration of the Jazz.Well... what brought it out was the media asking Donovan about the stat... which is a number... the stat was circulating on twitter.
