Smart's "fire" is gonna go out pretty soon after he keeps missing those long 3's...... Trey was not a good leader this year when he really struggled to score or his shots weren't falling. I can see this happening to Smart too.
Randle on the other hand will keep grabbing rebounds after rebounds and I think he won't get bogged down as much. He'll be effective leader for longer which is who we want.
Why would he be shooting long 3s all the time? Smart will be stronger/tougher than just about every PG in the league and will get into the lane more often than not.
Even big PGs like Kyle Lowry and DWill needs the 3 ball or at least a pull up to be successful.... those are the guys who can shoot it. Even D Rose became a star when their jump shots started to drop.
Tyreke on the other hand....
I'm not sold on any of them. If Exum comes in and looks brilliant in workouts then you have to give him a look. I think he goes top 4 though.
Gordon's FT shooting have really thrown me out of being madly in love with him. He should, repeat should, be able to correct this with time.
I'm not worried about his jump shot, but he's never going to be that shooter we still need on this team. I like his defense, and his athleticism.
He will score in other ways, and bring confidence to our squad. If he is part of a plan to pair him with a shooter either via our other pick or FA then I
like Gordon here. He can make us better, and does have All Star potential. It's just not as likely as Wiggins, and Parker.
I don't think Smart works here, and I can envision him being here long term. He does posses that fire, and confidence we need though. Is he big enough to guard
2 guards, and how does he play with Trey. Those are two alpha dogs on the same backcourt. It might work, but it doesn't seem like a great fit on paper.
Vonleh seems to be skilled, but I don't really want another big man. I still like Enes, and think he can be a very good starting PF/C for us. I like Gobert, Favors, and Kanter as our bigs.
Adding another skilled big just creates another log jam which we tried to avoid a season ago. I want to stick with our core, and build around it. If Vonleh is a big upgrade over Kanter fine, but
if they are similar in talent I'd rather go in another direction.

John Wall wasn't known to be a great shooter in college, struggled with his shot early in his career, and he's doing fine in the NBA. Improving a shot is possible.
He's got to the play the 3, and you'll have to pair him with a shooter at 2. So he's not a perfect fit, because right now we don't have the shooter to play alongside him.

Defensively, both Randle and Gordon are good options with quick feet and they can guard quick PGs better than our players.
But Randle is another force -too-much guy down low. Like Kanter, he fails to see the collapsing defense and open teammates all over the 3 point arc. He has some low post offense, can spin well, can use his upper body for contact, strong presence as a PF. He has to have a shooting form or become a cutter if he will contribute. Aaron on the other hand has no offense besides dunks. But I'm OK with it. He is nothing too special besides really good looking leaps and dunks and quick feet on defense. He also has the smarts to play the game as a team play. So he is a promising pick.

Small forward and power forward.
You either have the personality or you don't. Favors just doesn't have it. He is a nice player but his personality holds him back.
You almost have me convinced but I need to see him shoot the rock more to make him a clear winner. Right now it is between Vonleh, Randle and Gordon. I have no idea who I would pick at this time.
