To add to what GF said, "table talk" is a poker term for people who aren't in a hand and alter the play by either tipping someone off or by talking to someone in a hand. Personally, the latter annoys me as long as it does not impede the pace of play. If we are having a conversation before the hand then why stop in the middle of a hand?
Also, I really don't care if you want to discuss a hand that I'm in. We aren't playing Phil Ivey or Tom Dwan (the two best poker players on the planet). If a player wants to take advice about what I have then I will find a way to use it against you. Back in my semi-pro days I did this a ton since I knew pretty much everyone's game and they thought they knew mine. That's why pretending to have pocket aces made me plenty of money. Siro, look into that strat.
