Well we did lose something with some value too. Hill was not acquired for nothing. If hill goes elsewhere next year then I think that was actually a bad trade.

That's why I say he gets a B. Joe Johnson pickup was good and the contract was great. Hill trade was good too but the #12 pick could have been a decent cheap player that would be here for many years.... That trade and the endgame is still incomplete imo.
 
I give it an A. I wonder if we will get the nets Joe or the Heats Joe, but as of now it's a great move with little risk. The Jazz are setting themselves up for the future, while the rest of the league is spending Going out of control.
 
A- as stated in another post this could change depending on George Hill and an extension

as much for what he did as for what he didn't do. I think something moderately important is still brewing (along with the cleanup stuff like moving Trey and other end of bench moves).

But I can assume DL has some trades in mind for the early season do I am not at all down on him doing some great things. I bet the trades he will make will make the fans get hyped a lot more than the FA signings.
