One thing I'd say about soccer players careers is when it goes downhill it can go downhill FAST. Can easily go from one of the best players in the world to pretty much worthless overnight it seems like.

Thankfully you watch basketball where no one flops ever.


Ones sexuality has zero bearing on your ability to play a sport and be good/bad at it.

I don't know. Amaechi and Collins weren't exactly all-star material.
 
Is it true the Energy Solutions arena show the US game? Free of charge? Are you guys in the US into soccer now? When I lived in Utah people didn't even talk about the World Cup, let alone, watch the games.

Across America the interest in soccer is dramatically increasing. So much so. That there are now competitive leagues and clinics for kids as young as 5. The start of an infrastructure like football and basketball have.

My nephew is a goalkeeper and a competitive league just poached him from a non competitive one.

Make sure he watches a lot of Manuel Neuer ;)
 
Jozy Altidore is available for todays game.

I think they should use him as a substitue for the final 20-30 minutes of the game. Against tired defenders, reduces chances of injuries, allows him to warm up for future games if the USA advances...
