Neymar not playing is a big problem for Brazil, Thiago Silva's absence not that much, Dante(his backup) is pretty good, he is a starter at Bayern Münich, one of the best teams in the world.

Bad officiating in the Brazil-Colombia game but Brazil deserved the win. Couldn't watch the Germany game but I think they are on a steady pace towards the final.

Not just a simple back injury, it wasn't a "muscle" injury. There are doctors here saying he'll be fine in 2 months but if he were hit a little harder it would've broken a back bone.

FIFA says that America may make a bid to host the 2026 World Cup. If the US sees continued growth (in success and fan support) in the next world cup I think FIFA is all over this. They'd love to see soccer continue to grow in the US.
