Not sure a step back for the rookies. It looked like we were running a totally different offense. It also seems Hayward was told not to drive as much. I am not a big Bell fan, but they supposedly have told him that a lot this years as well. Kind of "hang out on the perimeter" mode. Unsure why.
Harris had his stat line but I felt he did not run the offense if that makes sense. It seems we had more people involved against the lakers, more balanced scoring and allowed Hayward to drive & dish.
On a positive note, Hayward was 8-8 from the line with a very quite 10 pts. He still played good D, shots did not fall, but he did get to the line.
I wish we would have had the Hayward drive , dish to Favors more.....
Anyway, based on quotes after the game seems like team has shut it down so none of this analysis matters much.
I think after the Lakers win they are like "" See ya in 1 or 2 years"
