Ouch. The beatdown in P-town.

You can't be too hard on BYU, though. They really can't be expected to compete with BCS teams.

Holy ****. Can honestly say I didn't see that coming.

Salty, PM your email and send a PayPal this week.

Look under that post at my edit. I wrote a post before that ripping Bronco and Doman, but I decided to go with the hyperbole instead. I wasn't serious. But certainly I did think BYU would win that game so LOL @ me for that and LOL @ me for witnessing that bloodbath in person.

The good news is I got home without any traffic problems.

Gotta wonder how Dave Rose feels after seeing his program used as a sacrificial lamb to showcase this garbage.

Is ESPN having any second thoughts about this whole televising BYU? Maybe it would have been better to play on the mountain so only a handful of people would ever watch them play...

3 TDs in 3 games... How pathetic is BYU's offense right now?

So who's been sleeping with you? Obviously one team hasn't been living righteously. Someone on the offense maybe? Has Jake Heaps been jackpotting around and going Shawn Kemp in Provo?

Great win by Utah. I will admit that most of BYU's troubles were self-inflicted but what really impressed me was how Utah's running game came alive in the 2nd half. John White is an absolute freak. Almost anytime he breaks past the first line of defenders he's a threat to take it to the house.

I also think it may be time to question just how good Heaps is. This was the 16th game of his college career and while he obviously has talent, it's starting to look like he's not going to quite live up to the hype. Some will say it's still too early to declare him overrated, but with 16 games under his belt, he's already almost halfway done with his BYU career if he leaves as a junior and even if he stays all 4 years, he's still about 1/3 of the way finished. He will make an absolutely amazing throw (the early TD pass to Apo) and follow it up with overthrown passes on 3rd downs and ill-advised attempts to force it into coverage.

Overall, I feel really good about Utah going into their bye week as they prep for Washington. On offesne Wynn has gotten better each and every week (even though I don't think he'll ever be the strong point of the offense), Utah's Oline is getting better, the WR's are gamebreakers, and John White is an absolute difference maker. Maybe the best kept secret in the nation at this point IMO. On defense there's not much to say. From front to back they look amazing and should only get better.

The loss to USC still hurts but Ute fans have to be extremely excited as they head into their bye week.
