I have a hard time believing that Stockton wouldn't make a very good coach. The question is does he want to coach.

I knew Hornacek would have made a better coach than Stockton, even without knowing what he'd done in PHX.

I am not saying he couldn't be a good coach. I think one of the main concerns I have is whether his philosophy is similar to Sloan's. What does he think about the 3 point shot? I think there are some possible concerns with coaching philosophy. I could also be completely wrong. Maybe he will be a coach much like Hornacek in many ways. If he was hired, I would personally be happy at the time. Even though we could have gone in a better direction. I guess we'll see what happens. Is there any indication out there that he might want the job?

why did you edit this post? Does it not show when a post has been edited anymore? Does an edit change where you have been quoted now? or is nikkk and trigg3r the same dood? wtf is going on I know that said "what is a kfc spork?" like 2 mins ago. If editing a post will effect quotes as well this could have disastrous consequences for qft.

I have a colleague who's son went to grad school at Gonzaga and happened to become very good friends with David Stockton. Not that it means anything, but apparently john was at the gym daily with the guys mentoring and working out with the team. He was very involved with a lot of one on one workouts with the members of the team. Does that make him a good coach? I really could not say, however I believe it shows that he has a strong desire to teach the game.
I love John as much as any Jazz fan, but if he is not down with advanced stats I really want no part of him.

post #890 makes no sense unless it originally said spork. I don't really care about some grand spork controversy but I am curious if something has changed with edits. does it no longer say "this post was last edited @ time"? Does it edit quotes?
