Never really liked him anyhow. But it does intensify the search though, because golden state wanted him and will have to find someone else if Kerr signs with New York.

I don't think Stan Van Gundy was ever on the list. In fact, from what has leaked, it doesn't seem like the Jazz are going after any former head coach. It'll either be a NBA assistant, Stockton or Ettore Messina. My guess it's a NBA assistant - probably Griffin or Boylen.

Yes, very much so. Although I would take him above Boylen.

Opposed? No. I think some probably have some concerns. I think I would be quite happy if they hired Stock. That's the fan in me though. It might not actually be in the best interest of the team.
