I know there is a lot of "butt-hurted-ness" going on around here with regards to Boylen. His demeanour isn't very good as a coach I give you that.
All I'm saying is:
- look at the Spurs roster - they've got a year older with Duncan, Ginobili and Parker haven't had the same type of season they had last season
- their supporting cast hasn't significantly improved either
- they lost Budenholzer to the Hawks; and
- Their assistant coaches include guys like Ime Udoka and Sean Marks. Ime Udoka and Sean Marks!!!! Say that with me 3 times!!!
Boylen is the first assistant ahead of these clowns.... the team seems to have pulled it together again somehow. He is Pop's right hand man this year and by all accounts he had done a pretty good job there too.
All I'm saying is, there are negatives, but there are also lots of positives if you care to look.
Then maybe that should tell you something about the people involved (players and coaches). That maybe, just maybe, they are not as bad as you think.
