I want to know how did you do

To my inquiry, I think there is a time limit that decides for whether if the "last edited by" message will show up or not. Meaning, if you edit your post in that specific time limit, which can be adjusted by the admins I guess, the message won't show up.

From vbulletin manual...
Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Last Edited by...'
Time limit (in minutes) to allow user to edit the post without the "Last edited by..." message appearing at the bottom of the edited post.

Is anybody opposed to Stockton?

Yea, I have several. No experience coaching. Great players do not always make great coaches. One of the biggest parts of being a coach has little to do with actually coaching, in the NBA the main job of a coach is to manage all the personalities of the players. Now I do not know if John is good with this or not, but I refer back to the incident that led to his retirement. When Mark Jackson turned part of the locker room against him, he sort of walked away from the situation. Of course we don't know everything about the situation and if he were the coach he would have more authority to handle it but perhaps this says something about his personality. John doesn't seem like he wants to deal with the drama associated with NBA players. Nor does his past actions with avoiding the media, seem to be a good fit. John will be the face of the franchise in some ways. Will he want to be that guy? What about his privacy that he has guarded all these years? I think John loves the teaching aspect of basketball but can he handle the travel, new conferences, cutting guys, dealing with player issues? Who knows? THose are my concerns.

I certainly think John brings a lot to the table. His knowledge of the game is beyond reproach. His physical condition is a great example for the players. His nerves of steal could be a calm presence. I think John has a good enough demeanor for coaching. He rarely seems rattled and always played forward. No one knows the pick'n roll like John does. He would be great for Burke and even Alec. I think he would bring excitement to the community. However, this might bring added pressure and will people turn on him if he fails? The game has changed since Stockton played, will he adapt or return to what he knows best even if it doesn't work. I think John would make a great assistant but I don't know if he is ready to be the guy. As a fan I would love seeing stockton roam the sidelines however I would prefer an experienced coach.

Many people on JazzFanz last year saw how great a fit Hornacek would have been as the HC to take over Ty. So why did someone with a great basketball mind and as calculating as Dennis Lindsey is, have missed out on Hornacek's talent?

Do you know what I think? I think it's because Lindsey (coming from the Spurs background) already had an eye on Messina, and somehow had his heart set on Messina the moment he became the Jazz GM.

It didn't surprise me that DL went on his "European Scouting Trip" almost the day after Ty was fired. It won't surprise me in the least when Messina is hired neither. Let's wait and see - but if my hunch is right - DL will announce Messia as our HC over the coming months or not weeks.

Freudian slip, there? Messina as the Jazz Messiah?
