Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

It was the Utah Jazz's main twitter that tweeted that. Which I found kind of weird they haven't tweeted quotes from the workouts till now.

I know, but whoever it is that runs that account. They must have a giant stiffy for Vonleh if they think the things he said qualify as knowing a lot about Jazz history.

Tyrannosaurus Randle!

In Perrin's last interview he got noticeably excited when asked if anymore of the top 10 guys had workouts. It was a slight "tell" to me Randle might be higher on their board than we think.

Randle is a bigger, quicker Paul Millsap
Bigger? Millsap was measured with a longer wingspan, higher weight and equal standing reach at the pre-draft combine. Their sprint and lane agility numbers aren't all that different either.

Wouldn't that be a disappointing outcome though? The Jazz let Millsap go so they can move up in the draft to draft a player similar to Millsap and acquire what will likely be two late first round picks. Effectively, it's Millsap, Carroll and ~#14 pick this year for Millsap-like player, #23 and a 2017 1st round pick.

I don't think Randle will be better than Millsap anytime soon.

Randle is a more talented, bigger version of early-Jazz Millsap in my eyes. To project to become later era Jazz/Hawks Millsap is a long stretch that can't really be foreseen until he shows a better jump shot.
