Official Player Workouts for the Utah Jazz

Vonleh was able to guard guards on the perimeter when he was switched on to them though.

Chad Ford and Locke were talking about this. They compared Vonleh to Karl Malone. I'm not sure I see that, but I haven't watched the film or workouts they have.

It's going to be Randle. This has nothing to do with the fact that I like JR as a prospect. Randle was made for the Jazz. Good dude, intelligent, hard worker, tough, winner - the only thing he's missing is that he's not white, but occasionally the Jazz have allowed black guys on their roster, so I don't think that will be an issue.

An 07' Bosh was a beast, averaged 23/10.

Bosh also stated this season that he was DONE with playing inside. Not that he was ever that tough, but you can't have a 5 just flat out unwillingly to battle inside. I can't use the word, but Bosh has always been a but of a pansy (can I use that one?).

Fixed.
And I hope you are wrong. If the net result of this season of despair was to replace Millsap with Randle, the Jazz will have lost my support completely. They could have kept Millsap and drafted around 12th, adding someone like Stauskas, McBuckets or Harris.

Julius Randle is Carlos Boozer with a better handle, and worse jump shot.

Or at least that's the impact he would make. Pretty good offense, good rebounder, absolutely terrible defender. For all of his "hunger" and "drive", decent wingspan and supposed athleticism, he couldn't make an impact at the defensive end against overmatched college players. Blah.

I've heard c bosh is his highest ceiling.

Yes.

The same bosh who got killed by 100 year old Duncan and fat Diaw.

Anyone wonder how bosh would have done against a 07 version of duncan/Diaw?

I'll pass. There's gotta be something better at 5.

Step off the hyperbole. If 1-4 is Wiggins/Parker/Embiid/Exum in some order, there isn't something better at 5. At least not obviously, and almost certainly not Julius Randle or Aaron Gordon.

Agree 100%.
I find it funny that many want us to "swing for the fences" with Exum, or even Embiid with a bad back. Taking Randle ahead of Vonleh or Gordon is the antithesis of that strategy.

Noah Vonleh has almost 25lbs on Chris Bosh at the time of their combine's, he also jumped 4" higher max vertical and hes younger.

connecting the results of Chris Bosh guarding Boris Diaw and Tim Duncan, with a future projection of Noah Vonleh, is loosely wired logic for sure.

Jazz asked Exum's agent for a workout, Agent responded that he would talk to Exum and his Family about it. So that's something, though Exum won't be there now that Embiid is going to slide.

Exum HAS to go to the JAzz.
Energy Solutions Arena / Dante's Inferno. Just too good a fit not to happen!
