OFFICIAL Postseason race thread *Sticky*

I'd rather play GSW all day. We'd probably get swept by both teams, so I'd much rather play GSW since they are entertaining to watch.

Plus, we'll get a lot more national attention, and the media will have us more in mind going into next season.

The Jazz shot a worse % from 3 against GSW than they did against San Antonio...

They also shot extremely well from the FT line against San Antonio. Against GSW though, holy hell.
Nevermind

who gives a **** about media attention for next season? ^this is straight up weird^

Media attention doesn't win ballgames. Media attention isn't going to change the landscape for Utah in terms of Free Agency either, so please don't go there.

Just win. You gotta play the best at some point, and the Jazz will have their chance, regardless of whether it's GSW or SAS.

And if Utah happens to stumble, losing 2 of their remaining games, then Houston could still be the 8th seed. Let's make the playoffs first before worrying about who the opponent will be. Though Utah SHOULD be the favorite in all their remaining games, they haven't won them yet. The teams we play will be loose, having nothing to lose. Utah has all the pressure on themselves. And that can cause young teams to stumble. Clippers bench is pretty good. Crawford and Pierce are scorers; Aldrich has averaged 15/9 as a starter. They're not going to lay down. And don't forget they signed the #1 pick from the DLeague draft (Ayres). :o

Denver could be tough in Colorado. Dallas has been hot; Lakers will be playing all out to send Kobe off with a win. Just as losing to Phoenix was unexpected for Houston, Jazz could unexpectedly stumble.

I don't care who the opponent will be. I'll just be happy to see Utah make the playoffs.

So some of y'all are telling me you want to play the team who is undefeated at home and 4-0 against us this year rather than GS or OKC. Yeah, out of the three SA is the worst scenario.

I disagree. We match up well with SAS. We have grown alot and at this point our starters can best theirs. With Burks back and carrying the 2nd unit we can make it a series.

It won't help Utah during FA? Why because you said so? Please.

We can beat both ****ing teams, tbh.

It will because you say so?

One series, in which we'll likely lose, is not going to raise the stakes next year for free agency. Pay attention to reality pls.
