We can beat both ****ing teams, tbh.
I'm glad we'll get the shot. I'll bring my full homer to every playoff game.

Thanks naosI'm glad we'll get the shot. I'll bring my full homer to every playoff game.
It will because you say so?
One series, in which we'll likely lose, is not going to raise the stakes next year for free agency. Pay attention to reality pls.
There a number of reasons why a good performance against GSW could help us in the free agency.
In the case we perform extremely well- if GSW wins the whole thing and we are the team that ended up giving them the most trouble, you bet your *** players will notice that.
1. That could definitely influence a player who is borderline on coming here or not. He'll now consider us to be a legit team and might even consider himself the key to making a big run or getting the team on top.
2. The increased media awareness likely means more nationally televised games for the upcoming season, and players definitely want to be seen on the big stage for various reasons (popularity, potential for more money, etc).
3. This could also help us attract better trainers, assistants, etc.
And these things are possible because everyone is following GSW. Victories against other teams (even SAS) won't be as meaningul/have the same amount of impact.
How can you say that? We've been blown out all but once against them.
They don't worry you at all? Huh? Are you saying we would beat them in a seven game series? Really?
With a straight face you can say that we have a better chance of beating the Spurs in 7 than the Thunder?
I know you hate them. But you are not thinking rationally.
Guys, the Spurs let off the gas in the 4th quarter. If you see Bonner out there it a clear indication that they were not giving us all they had to win that game. Believe me, we didn't see the Spurs we'd see in the Playoffs.
I think it will be interesting to see how winning and making the playoffs affect modern free agency.
