It's not just about how good someone is though, it's about how good they are relative to where they're picked (see OP). If Looney were to be picked at #25 then I might pick him cause I like him more than most and think he'll out perform that selection. But if someone picks him in the top 10, I probably wouldn't pick him as my homer pick. That is weak sauce to pick after the draft. If you think the dude is good enough he should succeed wherever he goes.

fine put me down for Justin anderson
Mark me down for Winslow.
I'll go ahead and put a pre-draft choice in of Sam Dekker.
Wow.. what happened to Bobby Portis?
I was wondering the same thing, lol.
This is forcing people to draw a line in the sand and make the tough decision, kinda like what GMs have to do on draft day.
I like it.
No it's not like GM's. GM's know if they pick the guy what team is he going to be on.
I'm just doing a pre-draft one. The official real pick will be post-draft.
Well yeah not EXACTLY like that, but what I mean is how you've gotta narrow it down and pick 1 guy.
No more love for Portis?
If Dekker goes 8 to Detroit he is going to get a lot more minutes.
