Official Thread: 2016 Draft JazzFanz Homer List

Maker simply went where he should have gone vs. where he was projected to go.

His floor is very high and his ceiling is unlimited.

A-freaking-men. There were those of us who would have taken him at 12, so no surprise he went #10.

Also, love seeing my name next to Ante Zizic. So jealous of Boston - not only is he a badass, but he's a great fit there.

Well I hinted earlier in the thread that people would just change their picks to the spurs after the draft and that I would change my pick if Jakob didn't go as early as he did

Years ago I complained about Kawhi not being able to hit water if he fell out of a boat when he played for San Diego State. The spurs have a effect on players, that's undeniable

With Manu retirement up in the air and Danny Green being the only other SG on the roster. He should get some PT on a really good team.

I thought he left school too early but i guess it turned out the best since he fell in the draft and got drafted by a top class organization.

He's still a teenager. I'd bring him over ASAP and get him into my strength and conditioning program and have him work with my coaching staff to aid his development. He should come over right away so he starts his NBA clock. Any Euro player drafted should try to get to his second NBA contract instead of developing overseas anymore.
Not all Euro ballers get enough action on the court so I understand players like Teodosic who want to be the king of their own junkyard.

Personally though, I would give anything to play in the big one if I was a baller.

If it were me, the money has become too large to pass up.

Yeah, staying in Europe for 3 years can get you a larger initial contract. . . but you're still a RFA and your earning potential is tied to the number of years of NBA experience. If I were drafted in the first round (minus a ridiculous buyout) I'd want to start that NBA clock immediately. Plus, NBA teams have access to so many more resources (conditioning, coaching, training and medical) that are benefits in my development.

You don't look to go to Europe until you FAIL to cut it in the NBA.

So guys... Summer League is starting soon, now is your last chance to change your pick (if you want).

Or for those who hasn't made a pick, it's not yet too late!! Make it count!!
