Long-time NBA reporter Chris Sheridan is reporting the Wolves are expected to move guard Luke Ridnour. Utah likes Ridnour, according to a source. But a separate source said the Jazz are not willing to deal guards Alec Burks and Raja Bell for Ridnour. In fact, Burks is off-limits in the discussions involving Ridnour. The most logical scenario involves Utah sacrificing the worse of its two first-round picks in the June draft -- the Jazz also owns Golden State's selection -- and Bell for Ridnour. Bell has an expiring contract. The Wolves don't appear to be involved in any blockbuster trade talks. 1500 ESPN

Oh, and why the Hell are the Jazz always on the bad end of the salary dumps? Minnesota shoud be giving Utah a pick for taking on salary! Memphis just gave two rotation players, a prospect and a pick to Cleveland in exchange for an expiring deal. Augh!


I know it is just a rumour, and there is no need to get all up in arms about it. But seriously, everybody knows the jazz are going to do something, could the Jazz atleast make up some really good rumours that look like they work in the Jazz's favor or that they are trying? Sigh.

Amnesty? I think the time has passed for that. Teams can waive guys, but they'd still be responsible for their salaries and it would still count against their cap.

Thanks. And like I said, doesn't that mean the time for amnesty has passed for this season? No team will be able to amnesty a player until next July. So it's not really applicable to this thread.
