hopefully he's tired...i watched the stanford press conference and shaw said he never saw anything like it. very tough test for utah this week, look forward to the game.
 
Hey Utes, give us Utahns some football pride this season and take the PAC-12 South. BYU is going nowhere fast.

It won't. He'll finish 2nd or 3rd. Story of my life.

Did Jimmy Walker to win the PGA Money list a couple years back at 40:1. He led until about early August when McIlroy went on his rampage. Walker finished 3rd I believe.

Did Mariota to win Heisman as a sophomore. He was the frontrunner until his last game of the year vs Stanford when he sucked and Oregon got crushed. He ended up not even getting invited to the DAC I believe.

Did McCaffrey to win it at 10:1 the year he broke the total yardage record. He finished 2nd.

Did Bradley Cooper to win Best Actor at 40:1 for American Sniper. He got a surprise nod for a nominee but didn't win.

The Mets to win the WS at like 15:1 a few years ago. They made it but lost.

A few others like this. I never seem to win. I have Love and Flowers to each win the Heisman. I have Newton at 20:1 and Wentz at 40:1 to win the NFL MVP. None will happen for me.
 
Sheesh...Troy Williams is a terrible QB. He may be a good kid, but he is not good enough to be a Pac 12 QB. Might be time to give Bateman a look.
 
Can't help but think this would have been an easy with with Huntley, or if Whit would get his son off the field and tell him to wave towels again.
 
He plays Oregon and at Oregon State the next two. I need to get him to about 1,650 yards with four games left vs tougher comp.
 
I'm confused about why the Utes threw the ball so much. They were getting chunk yards in the running game in the 1st half the defense couldn't stop it yet they kept letting Troy Williams throw away drives. Williams is worse than Travis Wilson at this point. He's scared to throw into coverage and can't hit or find guys running down the field uncovered. He stares down one receiver then gives up and starts running or panics in the pocket.
