Official Utah Jazz 2021 Championship Boat!!!

Apparently AD indicates he's ready to go for Friday (which would be nice for my fantasy team), so we'll see. The Lakers situation might not be as bad as it looks, or it might be worse...

I kind of hate you for having AD on your fantasy team. Just saying.

I'm sure you're perfectly nice... but you're also a person who has AD on your fantasy team.

So do I, that wasn't a particularly good pick...
The upside is I'm probably the main reason he's been out so much.
Is it too late to pick up a few other guys?

Well, just dumped Devonte Graham for Darius Bazley, but as long as AD says he might play some, I think he'll stay. He's probably on that cursed can't-drop-list too.
I'm expecting a bunch of blocks from Rudy. That would be neat.

Even if Lakers get bounced or don't win in play game there going be some tough teams to beat.. nuggets, Jokic has owned Rudy in the past and they now have a team that defends really well, like really well. Clippers for a the issues there have a lot of talent and a guy who has got it done in playoffs before and after last year I'm assuming Leonard is going be in assassin mode. Suns, are beatable but rough because of CP3 and Mavericks have a guy who can put a team on his back and win a series. . The blazers, they not a threat. The Griz could maybe steal a game or two in first round but they will be bounced early. Warriors with Curry and Draymond could be interesting just because know the zebras will be using their whistle alot for them.

It's just crazy to me that the Lakers look done and there some really good teams still. If the Jazz can't win it this year they never will.

Yeah, I'm not subscribed to the "Jokic ownz Gobert" line. Gobert played really well against Jokic up until the last playoffs. And even then, Gobert got Jokic for two games, Jokic got Gobert for two games, and three other games were pretty even. This year they have split with Jokic having the monster game in the last outing. That will not happen again tonight.

So the Jazz have been "struggling" since the all star break and have had a number of players miss lots of games with injury (including ingles, gobert, conley, clarkson, and Donovan) and the Jazz record is still 22-9 since the all star break.
Thats a 70.9% winning percentage folks. Only 2 teams have a better win percentage in the nba this season. The jazz and the suns.
Pretty cool that a "struggling" heavily injured jazz team would still be 2nd place in the entire nba.

What an amazing season.

Alright, so we could get some dream seeding here if we stay on top and the Clippers lock up the third seed. The question is if the Lakers can grab the 6th seed (doubtful), and, if not, if they win their first play-in game. But an even better fantasy scenario would be the Spurs playing the game of their lives and bumping LA from the play-in after two losses. Then the Spurs would turn right around and get swept by us, kinda like in 2012 when we tried to push into the playoffs only to get swept by the Spurs.

So with Denver’s loss last night, the Clippers are up 1.5 games on them for the 3rd seed. Nuggets have 4 games left, all on the road: @CHA, @MIN, @DET, and @POR. Clippers have all home games left except the Knicks today. The rest are Raptors, Rockets, Hornets, Thunder. Denver, unfortunately, owns the tie-breaker.
