Official Utah Utes Football 2012 Thread

This is what I expect, too. I look at USU and wonder why everyone is a bit nervous. I think the Utes have too much depth, defense, and overall talent to lose to USU. Now, if Turbin and Wagner were still there, I might change my tune but I just don't see this being a game the Utes lose.
Yes. Bottomline is the Utes should win somewhat comfortably (9 points minimum but probably not more than 20). Obviously if Utes suck a little and USU overachieves a little than it gets interesting. People want to hype USU just like WSU got a little hype. But in the end Utah's quality will show through just like BYU's did.

But it is nice that this discussion is even happening for USU and the state of Utah in general.

Child please. I go into whatever threads I want and don't worry if one thread is bigger than the other. Nor do I monitor threads I'm not interested in. I'll leave the junior high mentality to others.
LMAO. Considering the source this struck me as extremely funny.

Thanks. I figured it might be like that. Probably should pre-purchase then. Definitely not going with those GAs though. I hate sitting in endzones. I'm going for sure now though because I ran into a few of those wackos that have jobs/wives/kids and the like when asking around if anybody wanted to go.....and realized that's almost me. I'm probably a year or 2 away at most from not being able to blow 10 hours going to a football game that I ultimately don't care that much about and hadn't planned on going to in advance.

You seem like a strange person.

Oh for No.CO game meant to add I was pleased with Johnson's debut as OC, the game plan was simple more due to the opponent but there wasn't anything that showed the job was to big for him. Obviously as the competition increases the pressure also amps up and of course there is expected to be growing pains. Just wanted to say that was one thing that did have me nervous and that game did help ease my nerves.

As for the USU game I do think that the Utes offense isn't or hasn't been setup or geared to score a lot of points so that in itself will keep games close. Now some of that goes with last year who played QB and the U have a good D so not wanting or feeling they need to take much risks. That will be another interesting thing IMO to see how that plays out as the season progresses.

I will go out on a limb and predict that Utah's defense gives up less than 7 points. It looked really good last week.
