Will DirectTV pull it off by Thursday? The suspense is killing me.

As a new college football season kicks off this week, gobs of fans around the state and across the nation may be unable to watch Pac-12 teams play on the conference's new television network.

That's because they're subscribers to DirecTV, which has not signed an agreement to carry the Pac-12 Networks to its nearly 20 million customers.

It's no big deal. This is a home game with plenty of tickets for sale on ksl. Anyone worried about missing the game can buy a ticket.

Directv will get this resolved soon. Maybe not today (or maybe today, who knows) but surely before weekend after next.

What about all those BYU fans with DirecTV out there that want to watch about an hour of the Utah game, see you guys down 14-0, leave in joyous spirits to the BYU game with the impression that Utah's going to lose to the bottom of the barrel, go watch their team spank the Pac 12, then come back and realize Utah ended up winning 35-30 but don't care anymore because the BYU game happened in the interim?

You don't care about those guys? That's cold blooded, man.

Well that wouldn't happen anyway.

It would probably be a bunch of BYU fans watching Utah jump out to a 21-0 lead, realize it's going to be a blowout, they go watch the BYU game, Washington State ends up beating BYU, so the BYU fans start running Uncle Rico smack about 1984.
 
I have DTV and over weekend I was setting things up to record and it showed the game on channel 12 (that ALT channel 2 station) not sure if it is still there or will actually be on and will double check tonight if it still shows but thought I'd share and see if any others had noticed.

Of course they don't actually have anything confirming it on that site, it seems like it would be worthy of being mentioned, so who knows if it will actually be on there.
