Official Utah Utes Football 2012 Thread

ESPN had an overrated/underrated list for CFB today. Utah was on the underrated list. The writer specifically mentioned Wynn's return, the best DT in the country who's currently slated as Kiper's #1 player at any position in CFB, and the two Kruger brothers.
Good call there. Wynn is a girl. USU ran all over them. The Krugers would rather fight than play.

Just read an article about the Pac12 already having buyer's remorse about the Utes. I don't buy that. The Utes will be fine.

Oh yeah, well I read an article that Independence hates BYU. I didn't believe it either.

The season is only over if the Utes don't use this season as an opportunity to try ANYTHING ELSE at QB.

Tough to win anything when you can't throw a ****ing football. You're in a bad spot when getting your starter getting injured is good news.

But the Utes were brought in for their academic excellence, no?

Hey, USC and uCLA need someone to stomp on. They're tired off Arizona and ASU being the perennial doormats.

A little overreaction to a loss. But I can't see why some are crediting the refs. A blocked punt for an Aggie TD. Yep, that was clearly the fault of the ref. And the offensive pass interference negating the TD in OT. I watched the replay...that was a very easy call. It looked like an O-lineman blocking for a run, not a receiver going out on a ruote. M

The loss might be a fluke, or maybe it will be a down year for Utah. They'll come out angry for the BYU game, that's for sure.

Personally, I can see being upset with the refs on that last play. If they're going to call that offensive PI, they should have called PI on that last play as well. But to blame it on the refs is just weak sauce in it's purest form.
