Arizona State looks good. Darn good. They are not a pushover team. A nice, tough opponent to start PAC-12 play. And hopefully will tune us up enough for the USC game. I'm not even going to predict any other games in the conference until the first few. At this point I'm so confused about our team, I don't know what to think or believe as far as what they can do.

There was definitely an issue with this. I wouldn't say all game long, but there were two or three times on both teams at important times when Utah got bad spots and BYU got favorable spots.

Haven't seen it mentioned much But Star was just that, a star in this game, thought he was the best player in this game.

Congrats to the Ute players on the win.
I've heard some say that call by the refs on the blocked kick was totally right, and should have been called. The ball was picked up and could have been ran in, if the player reversed field he would have ran into fans and bench players and not been able to get to the end zone. Is it more likely he would have been tackled, probably. Who cares if refs in prior games were too lazy to get the fans off the field and let the game end, I think the refs did the right thing.
I thought the yewt fans and especially coach Witless were stupid in their after midnight comments. really coach, you're going to be that much of a moran?
Crazy game, it was fun to watch. Both defenses were pretty good.
Too bad BYU won the competition of who could make the most mistakes, the penalties were crazy but I really don't have a problem with the way the refs called the game. On every reply of the penalties, spots, and fumbles I think the refs got it right.
Good job to the fans for the noise, almost offset by stupidly rushing the field during a live play, but the noise made a huge difference.
