What's new

Oh the irony...

I'll jump in...

I voted for Trump because of one reason. He would pick the next Supreme Court justices instead of Hillary. It is the majority of his policies that I like now, not his personal issues. If you only read or watch CNN, NY Times, MSNBC, Huffington Post, etc. you miss a lot of the good being done in the economy and jobs. Hispanic and Black unemployment is at all time lows. Wages are going up, unemployment as a whole is dropping. The economy is growing and companies are bringing back business to the US.

It is amazing that he has done anything positive with the amount of negativity in the media:

There have been many added benefits of voting for him if anyone is interested:

Was this actually verified? Wouldn't surprise me, but I hadn't read anything that actually verified, only speculation. If it was actually verified I think the comments would all slam him for using the word.

Trump and Omarosa deserve each other. They both seem like awful people.

I couldn't find the article I read with the transcript of a verified recording of Omarosa and two other Trump campaign staffers discussing how to handle the tape of Trump using the word n*****.

I found this:

"Announcement of arbitration comes not long after Omarosa visited CBS This Morning and unveiled tape of Trump campaign staffers Katrina Pierson and Lynne Patton talking to her about that rumored tape of Trump using the n-word during Apprentice shooting. In the tape, a voice that sounds like Pierson is heard saying, in re Trump, “he said it…No, he said it. He’s embarrassed.”

So not actually verified... but I doubt too many people question that it happened. Trump has 99 lives.

If there's a tape of Trump using the 'N' word, is there grounds for an impeachment on him? Anyone know?

I read the same think you did with a transcript of what was discussed. It alluded to the possibility of a tape, but no one verified it actually existed, and the other staffers have since come out and confirmed that they never heard such a tape, only a rumor of one and what should be done if it actually exists. Omarosa also claimed that she heard that audio and it was in Bill Pruitt's possession (the producer of the Apprentice) which was denied by Pruitt.

Pruitt said over a year ago that Trump said some racist/derogatory stuff on the show, but never confirmed what.

I'm fairly sure he used the n word, but I have not yet seen verified proof. If it actually becomes verified, there will be a huge uproar.

No, it wouldn't. But the backlash would be enough for him to lose a ton of support from many republicans.

Wasn't Bill Clinton impeached for getting a *******? This is much worse IMO, it insults a whole section of the population.

This ****ing narrative that if you watch X news you won't know what's really going on is complete ******** said by people who don't watch any of those programs, because if they did they'd know that THEY DO talk about the positive things that have happened.

But please be aware, the President is not the economy. There are literally thousands of factors that push the economy one way or another. The President can do things that have an impact, to be sure, but if you're trying to say that the economy is good because of Trump then you really don't know how it works.

Regarding the veracity of the N word tape, the press secretary said she couldn't guarantee such a tape doesn't exist. That's all I needed to hear to know it's out there.

No. Perjury and obstruction of justice. Presidential BJs are allowed.

She's just preparing the population for the reveal.. softening the blow once it happens.

So the fact that he lied about it was what got him impeached? So had he said it happened he would have been fine?
If he would have refused to answer the question he would have been fine.

I predict Omorosa remains a thorn in Trump's side for quite a while. When all is said and done she may have a big part in the story.

They will also defend this if it is true. They have to keep up appearances, but I don't think a meaningful percentage of his base would get worked up over these comments.

It's like that woman on Fox News that inspired so much outrage a few days ago. But only the progressives feel outraged. The Trumpists agree with her sentiments, and I for one, am glad they're not being coy about it.

Trump supporters don't need to be worked up for us ro be free of this madness. Just everybody else. If they show up to vote against Trump there is nothing that Trump supporters can do to stop it. They are outnumbered 2 to 1 at least.
