I watched some of the OKC game Sunday night. Kanter was having a good offensive game against Denver's Bench bigs. But wasn't getting a lot of burn with the starters. It looks like OKC wants to feature him off the bench, the same role he would have had here in Utah. From what I saw, he has entirely given up on his midrange, and has gone completely Al Jefferson. And despite all of the talk about "working on his footwork," he is still complete *** on defense. All of the "looking like he was trying" is completely gone (probably because he has his contract.) I would say he got abused, but it wouldn't be accurate. For the most part he was rarely on camera when his guy scored. He was rubbed off by small guards, he would jackpot around when the ball was being brought down by the other team, being the last to cross half court, and wouldn't follow either player on a switch. The one time that I saw him foul a guy was when his opponent got an offensive rebound and went back up an he appeared to not be able to get out of the way fast enough. Again, this was only about 10 minutes of viewing, but he was featured during that time.
