4 of Durant's fouls was on Gobert. Defended him well too. Makes both clutch free throws.

I would like Batum on the Jazz for the high IQ, quick plays but I don't think he is a good defender anymore.

France ended the game on a 16-2 run and made Fournier look all-world.

They play undisciplined and poor team ball and it killed them yet again.
 
What's funny is ESPN will write things such as 'stunning' that the US lost and all I can think of is 'Haven't you been paying attention?'

Losing to Nigeria, France and Australia isn't shocking when you actually watch them play the game. They're simply not used to a smaller court, getting hand-checked and relying on touch fouls and throwing yourself around to get FT's.

Does this silence those who blamed Gobert for our second round exit? The dude dominated.

Maybe the issue is that we need to surround better players around Gobert? Maybe Q Snyder needs to change his coaching?

because all I heard was that rudy was the cause for our loss.
