Serbia played lights out basketball the first 5-6 minutes. The US starters looked really complacent apart from James who was playing hard.

Missed the first part, was dropping off a friend.

But the rest of the game turnovers galore and many missed opportunities.

Canada and France will be much better tests for team USA. Serbia doesn't have either good enough arc defense that Canada will, and France have much more mobile bigs to throw against team USA.

France looked kinda bad in their first game. Gobert + Wemby is an awesome duo but their backcourt is pretty much trash. I think Serbia is better than France right now.

Canada has an outside chance to compete with US but other teams need to employ the legendary "make all shots" strategy.

That's the fun part of cup format. Aussies, Canada and Germany all have enough shooters so it might be possible. In seven games series, not much!
