I believe this has been a busted myth for some while, not only that the amount of gold "moved" wasn't as much as rumored, the concept of "stealing from China" is also hilarious from a historical standpoint.Taiwan was actually built with all the gold in China, Chiang Kai Shek and the nationalists stole China's gold reserves before heading to Taiwan at the end of the civil war.
