I agree. This is by far the best opening ceremony of any sporting event I can remember seeing.

Also great and wide display of french culture with everything from opera to Moulin rouge style cabaree to heavy metal to art.

I loved the heavy metal part, that whole set was fire. Also unexpected.

The French Beyoncé bit was a bit weird though gotta say.. lol
