On the 47% who don't pay taxes

I haven't flip flopped on anything. Funny that a Romney supporter would make such a bogus accusation.

And let me flat out say that I don't care if you like corporate raiders. I still don't like them (especially if they're going to claim to be a job creator, and demand even lower taxes for the rich), and Bill Gates is still way better than Mitt Romney.

I'm not the slightest bit worried about a president Romney because he has no chance to win the general election (assuming he even makes it that far).

How many jobs would Romney have "created" by letting Detroit go bankrupt? Probably lots of jobs in China/Japan/Germany/etc.

Romney has flip-flopped on the bailout issue as well. Oh yeah...... also creating jobs is not the responsibility of the government by the way.

LOL. Yet every GOP candidate keeps talking about... "When I was governor I created x amount of jobs.... LOL.

Hilarious.
Funny how your post has so many interchangeable parts.

I guess it can if you want it to have....

The bottom line is, I don't believe enough time has passed for Americans to forget Bush I & II. The mere fact that they never talk about those Presidencies and can only refer to some dude who was elected President over 30 years ago seems to strengthen that point. And i don't think the GOP has done enough (or anything) to separate themselves from the horrific policies that dug us into this gigantic dung heap.

But don't wait up hoping for that to change.

The RINO/DINO folks all blather out both holes. They also have sensitivity groups they test campaign rhetoric on, and they know it'll lose votes if they don't distance themselves from one another. People react negatively to Bush and Clinton, just like Obama. I bet in the whole campaign cycle you won't hear anyone claim the "Bush mantle", and Obama won't even campaign on his record but on new "hope" and new "change". I heard him yesterday saying "Our phony housing programs to help the poor bankrupt homeowners stay in their overvalued homes and go right on paying too much for them so the banks can rip them off even worse hasn't worked as well as we would have hoped, but we're going to try it again". Not an exact quote I'm sure. My brain filters out a lot of idiocy and turns it into everyday language.

Advertising science has long known that public perceptions respond to massage. If your gidget is known to have some negative public response, you devise an advertising campaign that says the opposite. . . . . and the numbers will change. If people don't believe your lies, you need to say them continually for a while. . . . . then public opinion will fall into line.
