I think nobody can deny the fact that the Favors/Kanter duo looked just bad earlier in the season but they are definitly looking improved the last couple of games. In the last 5 games they saw the court together in 3 of those games. In a total of 15 minutes they have an OffRtg of 116.3 and a DefRtg of 109.6 . Which means they are a +6.7!
Also in my first post in this thread I posted the Off and DefRtg of the core5 playing together. This was one Lineup that really looked good with the Favors/Kanter combo for some of us the most important lineup. We need a bigger sample size to see where we at with the core group and I sure hope we see much more of them down the stretch and especially after the All-Star brake.

If a player truly wants out - and I'm not saying that's true about Kanter or Burks - they'll find a way to leave once their rookie contract is up. I believe all they have to do is play one more season as a RFA to then become an UFA, or am I mistaken? Worse comes to worse, that player can play under his qualifying offer for a year. Granted, the QO is low, and a trade would likely made before it ever comes to that.
