predicting 15-16ppg off Kanter. He'll probably have a season pretty similar to Al's 3rd with Boston (16.0/11.0/1.5)
 
And I know that I already basically said this along with pretty much everyone else, but Kanter is looking really good. I mean, it was a scrimmage against garbage, but he at least made it look easier than that sounds. Jazz should probably just spot him up so everyone else maybe gets better shots though.
 
Thrilled to hear Kanter is looking good. Seems like Favors and Hayward backed off a little to let others shine.

Maybe it's just that those two guys aren't particularly good iso scorers. I was happy to see Favors playing so well off ball, and making good reads/passes when he got the ball. Maybe that's what he's being asked to do.

That too. I am not that worried about either of them. Or Burke either. Of course it'll be rough. He will figure it out.

People need to calm down about Burke. I can't believe how people have turned on him because he had a bad summer league. I saw improvement. He made more jumpshots in this game than he did in all of his summer games. He ran the pick and roll a few times. Lucas and everyone's darling Machado played ok. None of the PGs looked NBA ready but Burke still has the most potential. Machado is not a rookie and he can't shoot either. He certainly is worthy as the 3rd guard but please some of you make it sound as he is the next big thing.

Actually if you read through the thread you would see that I didn't even include Machado in "my rotation". I said that I thought that Burks deserves the majority of minutes with Burke coming off the bench. I agree on the Stockton thing which is why I am not going to be mortified if Burke doesn't start all season long. How is it turning on Burke to say that right now he is not playing up to the level of a starting pg in the NBA? I hope he gets over this hump I really do, but I think he should come off the bench until he shows that he is ready to take the reigns of the offense.
