You don't think there are power brokers within the LDS church who influence local politics?

Exactly how naive are you?

Specifics please. How did these "power brokers" within the LDS church influence the local populace into voting for Hatch?

This is fun. I love these fairy tales you keep pulling out of your *** and then have the gall to call me naive.

If you want to attribute Hatch's winning to his spending, then fine do that. But claiming the LDS church manufactured a win for hatch against a FELLOW LDS church member (who is probably more conservative than even Hatch) requires just a tid bit of factual data. Interesting.... Of which, you have yet to provide.

Again, your argument about "age superiority" kinda crashes too when you consider the age difference of Mike Lee and Bob Bennett. Are you going to claim that the church didn't side with the elder on that one? But it did with Hatch? So what determines whether the church will side with the candidate with an older age?

Just recently in local politics, Dana Layton, a younger candidate who is FEMALE ousted the older and more experienced Repub Brad Daw (Male) for the house of reps. Mia Love, a young BLACK woman ousted an older white LDS male. Where was the LDS church there?

Typical of you. I'd expect nothing less. Embarrassing you is so easy.

You consider it an honor to meet Usher. You post such random garbage, and yet in the end, it's still all garbage.

it is Do you know who he iis? Hes the most famous Musician in the world probably well maybe Not because Justin Bieber is I think but who knows Usher is the Man.

No, I don't know who Usher is. I just felt like bashing you for thinking it's an honor to meet someone who I haven't heard of. Sorry for being a jerk.

I read the first sentence. I'm not interested in discussing anything with you. I reported your previous personal attack and I will report any post or rep comment you make in which you throw around childish insults at me. Have a nice life.

Ah yes. Reporting "personal attacks" like calling you out for your slander against a religion? You complain about being attacked while at the same time attacking a person's religion? And you call me childish?

Again, I'm not surprised. It's typical of you.

I'm still waiting for one fact to support your fairy tales on how the LDS church rigged this election. Of course, you're not interested in discussing it with me. After I called you out.

Again, typical. You make cheap low attacks based on nothing and yet run away.

Have a good weekend bra.

Look, thriller. I didn't say the LDS church rigged the election, you did. I openly supposed (no proof) that the candidate that won was the one who had support from influential people within the LDS church (which is the same thing as saying the influential local business owners and influential local politicians). I never so much as suggested that anything illegal was happening.

Every time you "call me out" you make demands about what I have to prove and what I need to say. I refuse delivery on your demands. I'm making posts in regard to my opinion. You're not a gotcha journalist and I'm not running for public office, so you can play your fantasy game with someone else.

You constantly make posts that amount to "neener-neerner suck my wiener" and I'm not interested in that type of discussion.

Seems to me Thriller is pulling a religious version of what One Brow does no race.

Unfortunately Thriller straight up kicked Gameface's *** on that one.

There was absolutely no need to go all "influential insider" conspiracy theory on why Hatch won.

FYI, it has been widely reported that Mia Love is LDS. Despite that, it is still an interesting take.

I thought you felt no need to talk to me more? Interesting.

I figure that whatever person gets support from the LDS church is going to win, so I don't waste my time voting as if it mattered.

Which one do the power brokers running LDS corp. like better?

Here's a hint. Seniority in the senate matters.

You're right... You're absolutely right. You weren't suggesting the election was rigged or that the LDS church influenced voters to vote one candidate in or another.

Jeez....

Just admit you were merely taking a cheap shot at the LDS church and really had no proof of it and no idea of what the hell you were talking about. If you consider calling you out and asking you to prove your outrageous statements as "neener-neener" or "gotcha" questions, then that's just tough. Provide a fact or two. Explain how the LDS church helped Hatch win. Do SOMETHING other than complain about "personal attacks" and running away. If you feel this conversation is moving in circles it's because you provide no new information or insight. Again, I ask, what specifically did the LDS Church influence, help, rig, whatever, to get Hatch in?

If you're offended by being asked to defend your offensive statements or are offended when someone challenges you, then you need to look inward first. Perhaps *gasp* you shouldn't make ridiculous statements thus provoking responses from people who are much more informed than you.

Bye bye now

I was stating why I don't vote in local politics, because my voice is drowned out by a larger dominant culture. Where's the conspiracy?

You posted several quotes from me, none of which claim anything was rigged. I'm disillusioned in regards to politics in general and local politics because it seems things are pretty one-sided. They aren't one sided because anyone is doing anything nefarious that I have any specific knowledge of. They are one-sided because there is a dominate cultural influence in this state. Within that culture there are people with a lot of influence, whom I suppose make a lot of the decisions behind closed doors (that's an assumption I'm making and I have no intention to provide proof, as I have none. I admit that upfront and have never done any differently) before offering the people the chance to affirm them. As I'm out of the loop and out numbered I take my ball and go home (don't vote). You trying to turn my statement into something else does not bind me to your assertions about what I'm saying.
