Oscar

Unless we're going to draft another center with a later pick I'd keep him as third, love how dominant he is on the boards and height/length ratio.

Didn't we acquire the rights to a 7 footer playing in Europe in one of our salary dump trades?

Also seems like a genuinely awesome person to have in the locker room. Likely a big moral boost type of guy when you are in tanking hell.
There are lots of intangibles (and even tangibles) that you can get at the end of the roster that I wish we did a better job with during the last regime.

Kris Dunn also says hello.

I think we always shared that in common. The end of the roster, second round picks, minor cap management issues... all can add up to create a huge issue or benefit if you get it right.

How come the experts were busy forcing up an unplanned rebuild while we were unemployed in the sports world and posting on Internet forums?

Is Oscar available to keep on a 2-way next year? I think Harkless is under contract for next year, but I don’t know about Tshiebwa. I’d like to keep him and see what he can do with more time on the team and a little more consistency.

I believe he can be signed to a two way deal for next season. Potter has to be signed to a regular deal or be let go. He's ineligible for a two way from the Jazz.

As much as I love Oscar, I doubt he can be more than depth/dog insurance. No shade, though. You need end of bench guys that give you value when they’re not playing and ideally also provide something special when they do.

Oscar has to shoot better to be an effective NBA player. I think he can do that but there is a reason the Pacers walked away from him.

I like a guy like this for energy and practice. I hope they keep him. Ideally on another 2-way contract, but if he can turn his time on the Jazz into a full contract somewhere else - I’ll wish him well. Don’t think we have the roster spots right now.

I hope we stash one or two picks and that frees up a roster spot. Having an elite NBA skill should give you some extra consideration as you work on other skills.

Every time Oscar gets a rebound that's another chance to score
That has to be worth something
How many offensive rebounds and put backs does he get
