Lets see:
starters: Love, Pekovic, AK, Roy, Rubio vs M.Williams, Burks, Hayward, Millsap, big AL
I think it is fair to say that advantage Wolves.
coaching: not even close, advantage Wolves
Bench: Budinger, Shved, Stiemsma, D.Williams, D.Cunnigham, Ridnour, Barea, Lee vs M.Williams, Foye, Evans, Tinsley, Watson, Kanter, Favors, Murphy? I would call it even, maybe slight advantage Jazz.
So at the end to me it looks like like Wolves have better team. It is not clear cut but Love alone is enough( superstar, which Jazz lack ) to give edge to Wolves.

love is good ill give you that... roy is unproven to see if he can even ball anymore.. and i seriously doubt he will play at the same lvl he once did. ak will probably put up similer numbers to what he did in UT, good but far from impressive... if twolves havent dug themselves a whole by the time rubio returns they might have a chance.

Utah on the other hand... they have imprived from last year, atleast on paper. pluse the youngs are getting better. it will be interesting but i stongly disagree with you. but i guess we will see. it will be fun seeing how utah plays this year.

I think people voting in the Utah Jazz Survivor thread need to read the assessment of Utah...twice.

You can make a case for Utah, Denver or Minnesota as the 2nd best team.

Minnesota may have finished in 2nd last season had Rubio not gotten hurt. They got rid of their headcase, Beasley, and for better or worse, picked up AK. But which AK will they get? Does Roy have anything left? And don't forget the all-important upgrade of Stiensma over Milicic.

Denver has Chandler for the entire season. They got Iguodala for peanuts. Was Washington the problem for McGee or will this be the breakout season for "Boom Bitches?"

I'm with this. Honestly with Rubio out I put us above the TWs but Denver is a seriously difficult team to deal with as far as what I'm looking at. Iggy is better right now than anyone we have and they have plenty of potential talent. Karl is a very very good coach and will get a lot more out of McGee than ever was displayed at Washington.

Utah is a total question mark. Nobody really knows how good the coaching is, how the adjusted roster will fit, what kind of progress to expect from the young core. I have my own prejudices of course but the reality is this season will define the direction of the team.

Honestly, anything can happen after OKC secures 1st. There have been so many roster changes in most of these teams to the extent where it is HAD to pin down how each team will do. Ill try and make a prediction a few weeks into the season.

So like I said, your opinion. Thank you for confirming that I was correct.
 
I have to wonder if this is the year that OKC has some sort of major injury to a high contributing player. Since they drafted Durant, all of their top notch draft picks have been healthy.

I just wonder of OKC takes a small step back due to injuries.
