We should probably start there with this team since those basic fundamentals seem to be a lost art.

Candidate for Thread of the Year.

Yes, this club is that bad.

Yet, still fun to watch! I don't care if our boys go 0-66...seeds are being planted folks...seeds are being planted. Just as I did last evening with an unsuspecting girlfriend...;)

Harris, Jefferson, Miles and a 2nd rounder or two for Rondo and Garnett. The Celts are 0-3 and need a change. Rondo seems to always be mentioned in trades and their other core three are getting very old. The Celts need to think about their future and in this, they get Big Al, a starting pg to replace Rondo, Miles, and a couple 2nds. None have more than 1.5 years left on their deals. For us, Garnett's an expiring and we get a true point guard to run this offense.

How you have the rep you do amazes me.....

We need help with the shooting and defending too. Some of the guys are good at rebounding though and Burks can make layups. Those are about all the positives I can think of.

Someone needs to remind Ty what a pick and roll is. We need to be taking advantage of the talent we have and attacking with drives. All this movement just to move is worthless to set up curls. If we're going to move, put the emphasis on cutting into the lane.

The Jazz don't have a roster of players with cohesive skill-sets. Harris is not a PnR PG (I've never been impressed with his ability to run any team offense, actually) and Millsap is the only big on the team that knows how to play PnR well.

This team is not really built to do anything good on offense right now. The strengths of the vets don't compliment each other and the rooks/sophs have a lot to learn and a lot to prove in general. After that, what's left?

The only two guys in the starting 5 who might be able to run some PnR's are Hayward and Favors. Unfortunately, opposing defenses will just collapse to the paint with Raja, Al and Harris being Hayward's only other options to pass to. Still, it's probably worth a try, if only to try to get Favors a few more touches to keep him engaged.
