lolololol
You'd really take Beverly over Hill at 16,000,000?
So...
Hill-Beverley
Hood-Ingles
Hayward-Semi
Love-JJ
Gobert-Bogut
Like that?
No. Sorry if that looked wrong. Beverley would cost us $15 million less than Hill if Hill takes around $20. I go PB.lolololol

True, but his role was still pretty much the same. Stand and watch James Harden get you wide open 3's.
It's just not worth it for Beverly. We dont need defense at the PG position that badly. I dont think Beverly is moving the needle on any decision Hayward makes, so you run a huge risk of selling draft picks you are going to need if Hayward leaves.
If we trade for Beverly but dont re-sign Hill, we are still a worse team. I'd rather just go after Teodosic with the MLE if we can't get Hill.
It will matter once Utah gets into the tax. I've been saying for some time now that they would be paying the tax, and Locke confirmed the other day, but there is still a limit. The deeper you go, the stiffer the penalties get.
I like the idea of trading for Beverly, but I wouldn't give 2 firsts. Maybe a first and a future 2nd.
I don't believe Teosodic is a realistic option if he's looking for 10 million a year.

I read it was 24/3 (which I believe is basically the MLE) that Teo was looking for. I think if Utah offered him that with a clear rotation spot for him, he takes it over any comparable offer (or even higher, within reason) from a worse team.
Supposedly, CSKA just offered him the equivalent of a 5 year, 62 million deal. The only other recent talk(that I could find) links him to Chicago.
No to 62/5, that didn't happenSupposedly, CSKA just offered him the equivalent of a 5 year, 62 million deal. The only other recent talk(that I could find) links him to Chicago.
