What's new

Paul George looks like he broke an ankle /leg /looked awful

No, I do not believe he had an underlying health issue.

Accident. I wouldn't call it that freak either. There's so much clutter on the sidelines. I'm surprised utterly surprised that more players don't get injured by crashing into the platforms, camera men, and rich fans who aren't even paying attention to the game to move the hell out of the way.

It was practically a World War I mine field out there.

Speaking of, u should visit one.

finally was able to see the video. man, this sucks.

this is how i see it. i'm sure he will comeback. but problem is he will lose some explosion and will change him psychologically. he will be out for a full season and when he comes back year after he won't look the same. so 2 years of prime will be lost basically.

that's just too bad. i was still secretly hoping for this kid to take that next step offensively.

This is a little much.

Says the person who has never seen any serious injury in person.

I remember people hearing rows and rows up Ware's bone crunching.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar sound from George's leg.

It's disturbing to say the least.

My best friend in high school was running against Payson high when a guy came down low and crunched his leg. The sound and look was disturbing.

For people who haven't experienced this, I can definitely understand your lack of empathy. For those of you who have, I think we all know, it's disturbing to watch and especially, to hear.

I've had a similar injury...I think people crying about it is a bit much.

Finally someone went first and I'm not the douchebag.

From a pain factor I'm told muscle injuries are way worse than any broken bone because of some nerves and stuff.

But I haven't been able to confirm that *knock on wood*

He was crying because, for all they knew and know, his career could have just ended right in front of them. Boys don't cry though. MAN UP.

Paul George wasn't crying, and it would've been fine if he was. I just think Irving bawling is a bit much, that's all.

crying a little bit is one thing, but to be like bawling in his fathers arms is a lot of show.

I agree that people need to get a grip. Twitter is awash with prayers for Paul George, both from random people and his NBA colleagues. The dude isn't dying, nor is he even remotely close to having his life in danger. He broke his freaking leg is all.

And even if he never plays another game in the NBA, he will have made around 90 million dollars. I think the dude with be alright.
