Paul George to Utah?

No, no, no! We don't need THAT type of PG!

edit: but seriously? Do people rally think we are one Paul George away from contention? He's like 33... by the time we are ready to contend he will be way over the hill. If we are making a big trade IMO we need to be looking for a player whose timeline is better aligned with our current keystone pieces - Lauri and Kessler...

I’m not sure we’d even have to give up picks. The Clips might do it just for the cap relief.

Unreliable players no matter how great they can be are not worth much on the trade market which is why few if any ever get traded unless the team trading for them is extremely desperate or duuuumb

Yeah, it's an issue.

Jamal Murray was injured constantly too, but he got healthy and dominated. It takes luck to win a ring and health is always the biggest swing factor.
Jamal Murray wasn't injured constantly. He had one big injury and was only 23 at the time. Also players that are injury prone don't tend to get healthier the older they are.

Every injury prone player is actively getting older

No they wouldn't because they don't have control of their future picks and there are a few teams that would definitely jump on George if he was available. I think the heat would be at the top of the list if they can't snag Lillard. They would also make sense for the clips since Herro is a solid piece help them stay competitive.

You know what I am saying. We see a lot of player in their 20's go through stretches where they are bit by the injury bug and then get relatively healthy. Not so much when talking about players in there mid 30's.

I know what you mean, but I also don't know what the cutoff age is for when it's a thing vs not a thing.

How would PG move the needle? Are we suddenly champion caliber? Lol no. Dude has been surrounded by talent and not accomplished a damn thing. Similar to OP.
