Phoenix Suns watch

Look if we are worried about losing to the fuggin Kings and Thunder in must win games then we aren't likely a championship team. I also think the way things are shaking out Denver has an okay shot at the #3 seed... Lakers could move to #6 or be #7... maybe being the #2 seed ends up with a better path. Its all so fluid right now. Try your best to win out and hopefully the rest of the stuff breaks your way.
Eh, we all know that if a Denver win against Portland means Denver in the 3 seed and the Lakers in the 6 seed, Mike Malone would sit every NBA caliber player possible.

Seems pretty obvious that the Jazz are not overly concerned about being the 1 or the 2 seed. It is secondary and they are not trying to outguess where different teams will land in the seeding. If they cared, they clearly could have brought Conley back and probably Mitchell as well. The are playing to win but the fans care a lot more about the 1 seed than the Jazz do.

I would also say with the play-in that you can't really tank to get a seed. You could play any of four teams though I think most would agree that present-state, LAL and GSW would be who'd you like to avoid.

Suns got 2 huge wins via lame *** weak calls on the last shot in the last month. Lame.
They say that bad calls have a tendency to even out. I certainly hope that is the case. There have been probably 6 separate games in the past month where the Jazz lost or the Suns or Lakers won based on single or multiple bad calls. With all the bad calls against us recently if a few of those could balance out it would be great as we go into the playoffs. I am not holding my breath.....

Well its back and forth basketball karma. Suns got the short end of the stick when they lost the back to back games against Denver when the Suns were still struggling, and Jokic/Murray both got away with late missed calls in each game.

It comes and goes. Odds are the next time the Suns are in a close game, the calls will go against them.

In fact, it WILL go against them if its against the Warriors or Lakers.

EDIT:

I can almost guarantee Phoenix will NOT get the calls. Their young players have NEVER been to the playoffs. That is a huge reason young teams never win. Phoenix is a nice story, but in the playoffs, they will get worked over by the referees whom will favor the more experienced teams.

Utah doesn't have that to worry about.

There are teams that get calls and teams who don't, unfortunately, Utah is one of those teams that don't get calls.
