The Clippers would have to out-tank BOTH the Rockets and the Thunder. That would be quite a feat.

But a Rockets tank evens up the loss column and Denver could only match them loss for loss and since they own the tie-breaker.

I'm assuming that Denver would lose to Portland and the Clippers would beat the Thunder. The Thunder need to lose to keep pace with the Magic and the Cavs in a tank race.

That Denver/Portland game will decide seeds for both. Portland might end up in the play-in if they lose and Denver might be 3rd if they win.
