I dont know how this works this year. Do they take 6 US and 6 INT from each conference?
If so then 2 INT and 3 US spots remain for West after those you listed.
They pick 12 from the East and 12 from the West, but then somehow they will pool those 24 players in to 8 international and two teams of 8 US.
Sengun, Kawhi, Deni, Lauri and Murray. Then maybe Booker or Reaves gets added as an injury replacement.
International All Stars: Jokic, Shai, Doncic, Giannis, Wembanyama, Sengun, Deni, Lauri....although Murray is also Canadian. Technically, Maxey and Towns might qualify as international too. Not sure how they handle that.

I think Lauri will have more trouble cracking the World 8 than the West.
Luka, SGA, Murray, Jokic, Sengun, Giannis, Wemby. That's 7 with 4 big men already. Should Joker bow out because of the injury, then I believe Lauri will have a much better chance.
Then you've got Avdija getting a lot more first-timer buzz and the full Blazers marketing effort (like Lauri got in his / the Jazz's AS season). Plus maybe Siakam in the battle as well.

If the initial voting doesn’t yield 8 international players then Adam Silver will add players until they reach that benchmark.
OK, I assumed something like that would happen, but didn't know it was already spelled out. So if we want Lauri to be an All Star we should hope for more Americans to get voted in.
Is KAT a lock for the all-star game? If so there is only 1 more international spot available. Unless Jokic gets replaced. Then we are looking at two spots available for Lauri, Deni, and Sengun.

It's a complete travesty if Lauri doesn't make it. This is the best basketball he's ever played.
