The argument is whether they are making a profit and whether they are selling fetal parts without them being donated or not. Its has now become very clear that what they are doing is not illegal. The unedited version has made that clear. The edited versions made it seem like they were talking about different things.

The argument has now shifted to how they talk about these issues. They talk very blunt and in a way that bothers people about dead fetus matter. This is not illegal but some are questioning their morality because of it. They talk about these issues the same way a medical personal talk about living or deceased humans as well.

Personally I think they should talk in a direct and correct terminology for what they are doing, but others here disagree. Its kind of like people who dont use correct names of body parts with their own kids because it makes them uncomfortable but ultimately it is better for the kids to hear the correct body parts and know what their function is.

These comments tell me that you either did not watch the video (which is not even of the same event that your rebuttal describes), or that defending Planned Parenthood is so important to you that you don't really care what the video showed. Whether you can admit it or not, it is obvious from the dialogue that the Planned Parenthood rep knew what they were discussing was illegal.
 
I have a question for those people who are willing to accept the Planned Parenthood argument that these fees are directly associated with the costs of handling this tissue. Why can the fee more than triple based on specimen quality? What is it about processing quality specimens that is so much more expensive? I ask this because from an outsider's perspective it seems that the difference in price reflects the difference in value on the open market, not the difference in costs associated with processing it.

Here's the thing. I don't know anyone that is "pro" abortion. No one wants to abort babies for fun. It comes down to what is best for society, the parents involved and yes the children.

I don't believe that a baby is really anything until it starts moving and kicking, thats just my opinion. Some people think a baby is nothing until its born and some think its something as soon as the sperm hits it. I respect all those opinions. I may disagree with some but I respect anyone's opinion on the subject. It's a difficult topic for sure.

I am "ok" with abortion when done early for a few reasons

1. I don't believe there are spirits or people or what not up in "heaven" just waiting for their chance to come down. So when a baby is aborted I don't see it as a souls one shot to make it to earth being snuffed out. Just my opinion.

2. There is nothing sadder than seeing little kids in crappy situations. Breaks my heart. I only want people that love their kids and are responsible to have babies.

3. There are already enough parentless babies out there. Let's make sure they are taken care of first.

Just my 2 cents for anyone that cares.

And I agree with a lot of what you said. Here's where I'm coming from. I view the fetus as a living human being, and I think it becomes a living human being at conception. So for me, abortion is murder. I just can't support it (unless for medical purposes to save the mother).

With that said, if we defund PP, we need to set up another program to do what they do, except the abortion part. We need to make adoption an easier and cheaper process. We need to promote Foster parenting more. And this is one area where I feel Christians have really failed. We want to talk about abortion a lot, but people don't seem to want to adopt or foster kids. Honestly, my wife and I talked about it before we got married and we are planning on adopting kids in the future. I think I read an article where it said if every professing Christian fostered just one child, they would all be placed in homes. How I wish that would happen.

The distinction for me is that you are PHYSICALLY KILLING an individual life form. The deed is done and life is growing. We live in a world where countless prevention is available to stop life from forming. If you still happen to screw that up you shouldn't have the right to just physically kill it because you don't want it and you made a poor choice.
