Take education out of it, let's say it's lung cancer(to which we have an entire life cycle to go through). I said "Look guys, all these people are dying of lung cancer. They seem to dominantly be smokers, and overwhelming majority of public thinks it's from smoking". Franklin would be the one saying "Dying's just part of life, get over it. So what if the people think it's smoking causing it". Alt is the one that would say "Well, all of these OTHER people smoked all their lives and didn't have lung cancer. Our air in general is polluted, I'm sure that has something to do with it. I've been around smoke all my life, and I've had no problem".

Education departments are amongst the most well-funded departments in academia outside of the core sciences. Thousands of people are concerned with this issue....... y'all just need to both hit the reset button-- both of you are having trouble carrying a conversation because of the proactive interference of past conversations. We had the same problem, and I've tried to hit reset. I think it'd be helpful with both of y'all as well, instead of trying to just minimize and insult the contributions of the other party. I find it exhausting over time, and I imagine at least one of you do as well.

"live birth" is a definition of convenience for management. Whether human or not, "life" begins with conception, or in the case of say grass and trees, with the first growth of a seed.

I used to be one to just stop with the idea of you decide what you want to do, no government definitions, but since I saw my daughters via ultrasound beginning at about two weeks, the size of a grain of rice, with a pulsing heartbeat, I've never been able to deny the reality of life from the outset.

I don't know how to convince others, perhaps, of my view. But I value life and I feel others are missing out on some good things when they work so hard to evade the truth.
