I hate how Corbin is putting him into Alfense.
I like that he seems more willing at a younger age to pass it out. I don't mind post play if they player learns when to recognize a double team. Al still takes on 2-4 defenders all by himself far too often. Against Memphis he was quadruple teamed and still tried to throw up a shot early in the clock. Wide open teammates all over the floor.
On an interview with David James, Kanter said he has to run laps in practice if he doesn't get an assist!!
What does Jefferson have to do?
It's not the low post that I hate, it's the dancing around like Big Al instead of doing something with it. Ya he resets and passes to the opposite high wing a lot. Better than Al, but this is no Malone or Gasol or Gasol passing from the post with a true offense to look for.
I also wonder if he can palm the ball or if his hands are too small. I don't see it much. Would be a huge upgrade to his game.
You can not compare a sophomore with a superstar BigMan.
I thought Al was past his 2nd year? But your right Al is not even in the same conversation with Kanter. Kanter is far far better. You can not compare a sophomore with a superstar BigMan.
Here is you're answer
