Don't we have like 3 guys who can just be cut by mid-season and aren't fully guaranteed?
Can, but why? If they aren't at the salary floor, then why on earth would they? Like I intimated, some of these guys are no-risk gambles that can be used as trade assets.
Like they decide they don't like them and they want to try some other guys out to keep the non-guaranteed thing going. It's what they did with Felix/Murray, right?
More important than what his actual sources are, he must out them, just like precisely no one else in his field would do or does. Because gregbroncs sez.

The last couple spots could be non-guaranteed until around he 10th of January, IINM (when by NBA rules players have to be released or their contracts become guaranteed for the remainder of the season). Not sure how the contracts of Cotton and Millsap are structured, but it would be pretty standard to have Hanlan and whoever else we might sign (Cooley, Johnson, Motum, Saunders, etc.) to have non-guaranteed deals.Like they decide they don't like them and they want to try some other guys out to keep the non-guaranteed thing going. Tibor Pleiss arrived in Utah on Saturday to discuss his future with the Jazz.
Pleiss is a seven-foot German center who currently plays for FC Barcelona in Spain, but he saw just 13.9 minutes per game last season. He does have great size and is an excellent shooter, but he wouldn't have more than a limited role off the bench if the Jazz decides to sign him. In terms of fantasy, he can be largely ignored in most leagues.
