Pokemon Go

First, you must not have been around long if you think wordy posts from me are somehow suspicious. Second, believe whatever you want. I added in my experience which is a bit unique since I got to participate in a closed beta that didn't have many players at all, and it changed quite a bit from that to the live game. And 3rd nearly everything I know about Pokémon is from this game. My kids played the card game and watched the shows. I never did. Other than what changes into what in the game (like the evee I evolved into a vaporeon today) I know all but nothing of what Pokémon does what, changes into what, or why. Sorry it makes you so hot under the collar that someone has a different experience from you that you felt it required a neg rep (is that even a thing anymore?). I feel no need to prove anything to you since you are obviously of the opinion I'm just a pathological liar or something you wouldn't believe it anyway.

But I hope you have fun catching all those eevees I must have been lying about. Enjoy!
I didn't neg you, weirdo. I've been around this site for a long time, and never found any of your other posts on any other subject to be particularly disagreeable. It's really bizarre to see you claiming strange and highly unlikely things. Like I said, pics please and Ill still be slightly suspicious but give you the benefit of the doubt.

In other news, apparently some dude in Ohio claims to have caught and has video evidence of an Articuno. Its likely BS or a hoax according to many reputable outlets but the facebook group for pokemon go in Ohio has gone bat **** crazy.

I'm not sure how accurate they are but I read two pieces of news about PG. One, an 18 year old was shot and killed after trying to break into somebody's home to get one. I think it happened in England. I also read a man is suing because of people coming onto his lawn to get ones. I can't blame him either.

Because you are not viewing in context of what it is.
BTW, the Beanie Babies craze and all of the other manufactured rarity games have always seemed stupid to me. This one seems particularly strange because it's not even a real object, yet people are arguing over whether someone could possibly have it or not, and the even funnier part is that they are calling this bad drawing "legendary." Obviously a lot of people disagree with my opinion.

You are comparing Pokemon to Beanie Babies? Pokemon has been culturally relevant for 20 years.

I'm tempted to attempt explaining things to you but, I'm going to just walk away with pride intact.

You would lose your pride if you explained your hobby?
Ok. Sorry for the poor joke there guy.

I'm gonna assume you're asking for an explanation.

A "legendary" pokemon is only legendary within the context of the main-line pokemon games and connotes a certain status of literal one-of-a-kind rarity and, usually, power. For example, in the first game, 150 pokemon were introduced and you take your character and wander the world catching them and forcing them to fight. Among those there are ubiquitous and mundane pokemon like birds and rats. There are rare pokemon who are hard to find and are typically more powerful. And then there are "legendaries" which require certain circumstances or luck to encounter and are only available to catch once. That's it, your only chance to catch them. Every new main-line pokemon game introduces new pokemon and that includes new "legendaries".

In regards to Pokemon Go, currently, only the original 150 are available to encounter. Well, almost 150. The 5 legendary pokemon in the original 150 can't be found yet.

Does that resolve your ****ty *** stupid old man out-of-touch ignorance?

I didn't mean that.

Anyways, nothing about the "drawing" is legendary.

I agree that manufactured rarity games are largely pointless as are most activities that people enjoy on their free time.

^^^

Pretty sure there is 151 original Pokemon.
