Police Power and Racial Tensions in Ferguson, Missouri

Honestly, if Brown was fighting with the officer, then I have no sympathy. He was seen acting like a thug immediately before the incident, so I don't think it's much of a stretch to believe he was mostly to blame for the situation. My mind isn't made up, but this doesn't seem to be the obvious abuse of power some are making it out to be.

For how long after such a fight does the officer have the right to shoot him with impunity, in your opinion?

The STL Post-Dispatch reported Wilson married fellow Ferguson PD officer Barbra Spradling... Anonymous 'took the hood off' several Ferguson/St. Louis County KKK members, and Spradling has family ties to many.

Wilson is a murderer. He must be indicted and tried! Justice is coming for Mike Brown.

As I understood freakazoid's post, such a dragging was not justified. Hence, my question.

Until the facts were released and people are no longer speculating it was unjustified.

However I do see the anger at another police shooting and the demand for the truth as 100% justified. Brown's family deserves the truth and appropriate action depending on what that truth might be.

This is not the first time St. Louis has had issues with Racism in the past few years. I lived there for a short time and we were told to stay in doors several times due to Racial Tension. There is still a lot of Racism in the south. I've lived there most of my life. When I moved to Utah it was nice to see that the Racial inequality isn't as pervasive here as in the south. However, both sides of this issue are at fault. The police being heavy handed and Brown acting out using drugs, robbing a store etc.... Why we dont' take responsibity for our actions is beyong me. Brown was and is wrong as is the officer and media, protesters etc.... By the way, I have several friends who have marched in these "protest". They have told me that their is a large faction of individuals who have been "trucked in" and they are the one's who are makign the biggest ruckus and fighting between cops. The media is very one sided. Twill be interesting to see what comes of this in the coming weeks.
